nder the formidable leadership of NVM Gonzalez’ son, Myke Gonzalez, Philippines and U.S. writers came together from January 4 to 9, 2016 for the NVM Gonzalez Writers’ Centennial Workshop held at the University of the Philippines, Diliman and in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro. Celebrating what would have been NVM’s 100th birthday, Myke said, “This, the sixth NVM workshop is a pilgrimage. We are all seekers and, in the process, everything gets transformed. We’ve come full circle—from UP to the U.S. universities and back to UP.” [More]
